Qualified applicants will be notified by email of the date, time and place to report to for an aptitude examination. The test battery covers reading comprehension and math. The aptitude test is a pass/fail test proctored at the training facility.

If a qualified applicant passes the aptitude test, they will be notified (by email) and scheduled for the upcoming interviews.

Yes, in order to become a Union Electrician you must apply to the apprenticeship program.

 

You can take an Algebra course at an Adult Education, Continuing Education, Community College, etc. with a passing grade of “C” or better or provide evidence of having successfully completed the NJATC Tech Math Course.

Yes, you must show proof of a valid Driver’s License.

Yes, your official sealed(unopened) transcripts must show successful completion of (2 semesters) of High School Algebra 1 with a passing grade of “C” or better, or one post high school Algebra course (e.g. Adult Education, Continuing Education, Community College, etc.) with a passing grade of “C” or better or provide evidence of having successfully completed the NJATC Tech Math Course.

No, all applications must be completed at the training center.
